Using Scanix
The web tools are provided free of charge for lawful personal and business use. You keep all rights to the documents you process; we acquire none, because we never receive them.
Your responsibilities
- Only process documents you own or are authorised to handle.
- Do not use the tools to remove protection from files that are not yours.
- Keep your own backups. Processing happens on your device and cannot be undone by us.
No warranty
The tools are provided as is. Conversion and compression change files, and results vary by document. Check output before relying on it, especially for legal or financial documents.
Electronic signatures
The eSign tool places a signature image on a page. Whether that constitutes a valid signature depends on your jurisdiction and the agreement in question.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
