About Scanix
A scanner that treats your documents as yours.
Scanix started with a small annoyance: scanning a page on a phone was easy, but doing anything useful with the result meant uploading it to a stranger's server. Contracts, medical letters and passports were being posted to free converters every day by people who had no way to check what happened next.
So we built the other version. The app captures and cleans up pages on the device. The web tools do their work inside the browser tab, using the same engine that renders the PDF on your screen. A file you drop here does not travel.
What we care about
- Privacy by architecture. Not a policy promise — there is no upload endpoint to trust.
- Speed. Pages are statically generated and ship almost no JavaScript. Tool libraries load only when you open the tool that needs them.
- Plain language. Buttons say what they do, and errors say what went wrong.
