How Scanix handles your data — and why there is so little of it.

Short version
The online tools do not upload your documents. Files are opened and processed inside your browser, and results are saved directly to your device. We never receive them, so we cannot read, store or share them.
What we do collect
- Anonymous usage counts: which tool was opened and whether it completed. No file names, no contents.
- Newsletter email: only if you type it into the subscribe box. One-click unsubscribe on every message.
- Support email: kept only as long as it takes to resolve your question.
App permissions
The mobile app asks for camera access to scan and storage access to save. Cloud sync is off until you turn it on and choose a provider.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage is used only to remember your tool preferences.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold by writing to privacy@scanix.app.
